Belgium Shopping

Displays of wooden clogs. . . .

To rows of lace making shops. . . .

Tapestries of various designs for sale,
or even buy the panels to make your own cushions etc. . . .

A very wide choice of commercial or handmade lace,
beautiful & intricate. . . .

An apetite for Belgium chocolates,
 to tempt anyones palate. . . .

With taste in mind, plenty of Belgium Beer to sample. . . .

Besides the relaxing meal of a cheese fondue. . . .

Much else to see,
but one of the biggest surprises,
an all year Christmas shop. . . .

The Sun's Rays

A beautiful sunset on the North Devon coast,
stayed until the sun finally set.  A wonderful end to the day.

And earlier that day, the sun glistened over the sea

The sun's rays are always welcome,
regardless of whatever the time of the day!

After Work

Often wish I had time in the morning,
to just stop the car &
leisurely take photos of the sun rising.
Not a chance!

But finally,
one evening after work this week,
I did manage to capture these sunset moments instead.

Willett Hill

A walk taken a few weeks ago in the Somerset countryside.

It is definitely a hill!
 But thankfully,
 a gradual gradient,
walking through woodland in a spiral direction. . . .

Finally,
with a walk through the bracken flanked with small trees,
the top of the hill was in sight.

The ruin of Willett Tower. . . .

Over the hill, looking back,
the tower is shadowed with the lowering sun.

But, what an amazing view, the Somerset countryside

Seasonal Changes at Hestercombe Gardens

The Autumn colours are now starting to settle in. . . .

The transformed leaves of various shades of red,
brown & yellow are now falling into nestled heaps. . .

Plants may be shedding there spring & summer colour,
but the vibriant red of Autumn is stunning indeed!

Even the dead flowerheads of the blue thistle,
 still offers a new dimension,
 to this ever creeping season.
