Winter Colour

Although in recent weeks,
the main colour to emerge this winter has been the white stuff,
 Snow!
There is definite evidence of the lovely warm colour of red.
So many shrubs & plants with red berries,
a sign of an extreme winter?
Clusters of Rosehips

All of this mixed in with
the last of Autumn colour foilage

And, such a surprise on a very bitterly cold day,
 following a recent snowfall,
Small, but Bright Pink roses in full bloom!
Only just surviving I'm sure,
due to the shelter of the thick stone grey garden wall.
But a welcome sight nevertheless.

The Post Office. . . .

Tintagel Post Office, with its slopping roofs. . . .

A small cornish  coastal town associated with King Arthur from centuries ago,
needless to say, this hotel was named after King Arthur & Camelot.

Castle to Mill

From the various views from Dunster Castle,
the descent down, took us on a walk to the Mill.

Butterflies attracted to much of the flora that was in full bloom. . . .

Lilies to Irise's. . . .

Getting closer. . . .

Winding pathways,
beautiful flowering blooms on full display.
Even a bench for a rest. . . .

Finally reached the Mill,
only a small shop with not much to see,
the walk well worth it though!
